Jerry

Meet Jerry our sweet, 5-year-old mixed breed boy.

Jerry is an affectionate and loyal dog who tends to build strong emotional bonds with his special human without being possessive or protective.

He would ideally suit someone on their own or a couple, rather than a family with all the buzzing and goings that comes with the dynamics of family life. He can live comfortably with another dog or on his own. He is fine with dog-savvy cats too! What a good boy!

Being a shy dog and not having been exposed to many visitors, he tends to withdraw when strangers come to the house and barks in a non-aggressive way before relaxing once the surprise is over and everyone has settled down.

Jerry is lovely to walk with; he loves meeting other dogs and enjoys a good run.

Jerry is doing well in his foster home and is improving by the day. He will still need further exposure to the big wide world to improve his confidence, but he is well on his way there.

Previous experience of owning a dog and an understanding of the needs of rescue dogs is essential, and we are always at the end of the line for advice - so please seek it if you need.

Jerry is in foster in Potters Bar near junction 25 of the M25. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

We are looking for a home within easy reach of his foster home ie, Enfield, Hertfordshire borders, North London and Essex borders, North East London, although we may consider enquiries from further afield for the right home
