We desperately rely on the good hearts of the public to keep our little rescue going. Unfortunately the donation fee doesn’t go very far when covering the costs to run the rescue. We have many vet bills to pay as all of our dogs are neutered if they are old enough, have a health check, vaccinated, chipped and flea’d and wormed- and this is just for the healthy ones. Other dogs may need surgery, X-rays or other veterinary attention. On top of this we have food, transport fees etc to consider.

You can help us cover these costs by donating to our Paypal account.

There are other ways to help us too!

Foster Homes:

We are always looking for foster homes – these are an absolute lifeline for our dogs as we can only take a dog if we have a suitable foster home. They provide the patience, love, care and training a dog in need requires before looking for their forever home.

If you think you could be one of these special homes please pop over to our Become a Fosterer page to find out more information and to fill in a Foster Form.

We are also always grateful for donations of dog food, leads, harnesses, collars, dog beds etc. These are put to good use in our foster homes.

Home Checkers:

We need people to carry out home checks all over the South East to visit the homes to assess the suitability of prospective new owners. If you feel you are able to do this for us please contact us at info@leavalleydogrescue.co.uk

We are so grateful to everyone who offers to help us help our dogs.
